    So Brandenburg is upset that Us fish and wildlife is signing easements with absentee land owners on land he rents. I thought this was about property rights for land owners, doesn't the absently land owner have the right to sign an easement on land he owns?

    I am all for non profits & the state of ND buying land as long as it is for public use. These are archaic laws that might have worked in the past but now only protect an industry that is losing family farms to large scale operations

    ALL residents should pay taxes equally based on the value. Why should "rural residents " be exempt when others are not? By granting tax breaks to some it shifts the burden on to others.
