    Yes..I believe the 2 pumps that have been running removed 7-8 inches this year..then subtract more for evaporation. I think I read or heard 7-8 inches though. Someone else can chime in if they heard different.

    Where to hunt?

    Look for alfalfa fields- not too short or too long, harvested bean fields, near a water source. You will probably find them sitting on the side of a hill. On a side note, this assumes the said area is unposted land. If posted, be a courteous hunter, and ask permission. Good hunting

    I would think you would want to get your house built and check out the sight lines from your different windows and such so as not to have to cut down your recently planted trees because you are finding out they are not planted where you wish you would have planted them.
