    I would encourage anyone who doesnt like these new changes to email GF asap, especially the one about not using anything to assist in viewing fish... That will affect MOST people interested in spearing. I already sent them a little note explaining why I dont think its a good idea.

    Yup, this seems to be directly aimed at making it more difficult for spear fishermen. I highly doubt there is a lot of over harvesting going on, not enough people target pike already. This will just make that situation worse and eliminate the ability to fish on some lakes where the water is...

    Its too cold for insects to be active outside, so if they are in your house, they are coming from somewhere. If you have plants they could be living/breeding in the soil.
