    After having a homemade smoker I think it would tough to go to a store bought one again. I have a easier time keeping temp it always works even in 20 below and wind and I can get a couple hundred pounds of meat in it at one time.

    I don't think the odds of catching a trophy walleye are better in Minnesota. I'm going to have to call bs on that one. The LOW is probably the only lake that I can think of that could compare with the Missouri on terms of trophy fish. Yes u will catch more fish but most of them will be 12...

    I grew up eating pike and catfish both are great to eat bit now only keep eyes and pan fish just cause I don't want to deal with the slime and bones.

    I wish I could find some might have to head out after work one day this week and see if I can get lucky. I have never had them but heard they are really good.

    I usually put 5 beads on just enough to cover the length of the blade. I don't put a bead about the blade.

    All my jigging rods are 1 piece. I have a couple 2 piece rods that I use for drowning minnows on the river but that's it.

    I'm looking for someone around the Fargo area that builds rods. I know I want a 6-3 medium extra fast with a wood handle but not sure what type of guides to get. Its for my wife for our anniversary. She is always stealing my good rod when we are out pitching jigs.
