    Last time I looked there were FREE non resident youth tags in MN for selected areas beginning at age 10. That's where I took my daughter for her first two deer. Just sitting in the blind watching stuff with her was a treasured time for me. Have to thank a fellow NDA'er again for making it...

    Getting kids into the field at an earlier age sinks those hooks of living the outdoor sporting lifestyle a little deeper.     Fox and a magpie

    Foxes get a pass from me on the trap/snare line until they outnumber them damnable coyotes. Then I'll start to take a few of them as well. As of now, foxes are less than 10 percent of my canine catch so they all get let go if possible. Cool footage!!

    Your greatest concern will be WATER. Packing in water.....sucks!!! Finding a place to camp that has a good water source will be paramount to a fun hunt. Gear, Food, and Location is another bunch of threads. Good Luck!!!

    Whats your favorite CEREAL?

    Rarely have cereal for breakfast. Normally, farm fresh eggs in some form with bacon, ham, or sausage, and buttered wheat toast with a glass of orange juice. However, when I do have cereal it's old fashioned plain cherrios or frosted mini wheats.
