    Guarantee I'd stick that little hook gap deep in my person at some point. I see the idea behind it and it's not half bad. Might work pretty well for bigger swim baits and short strikes.

    This^^^^^ Nanofil is GREAT for fishing in open water without anything to rub against and does cast very well. However, the Sheyenne River where I fish 90% of the time is anything but open water. 10/2 PP with a 2ft floro leader is my method for success.

    To be fair, I assume they were tip up fishing and that one might have been gut/gill hooked. If it was, I would have kept it as well, but it would be on the wall and NOT in the pickle jar. I just hope it met the length requirements.

    We've blown 4 or 5 and just use the measurements of the tire and get whatever fender will fit. Sometimes we have to drill new holes, but it's not a big deal. We get the cheapest ones we can find which is usually at our local boat dealer or fleet farm.
