    Brass Tumbling Media

Ya, I feel the same. I am more into emptying loaded ammo than reloading empty stuff. Still I do get a feeling of accomplishment out of quality ammo, and for handguns cheap ammo (my own cast bullets) that shoots good. I just don't enjoy doing it that much. It's to much like work instead of...

I forgot to mention, I use my dehydrator to dry the brass. It's either wait 24 hours, or dry in the dehydrator for 20 minutes.

    Brass Tumbling Media

I switched to stainless a year ago. No need to purchase the cleaner, just use a teaspoon of Dawn and a teaspoon of Lemi Dry. When I used walnut she'll I found a basketball needle fit in the primer hole. I blew 100 brass out with the compressor and faced it at a piece of white paper. I was...

    Federal Land Transfer

I know nothing about that. My only point is they are trying to make us all dependent on gov. None of us are immune to the bait they set.

    Federal Land Transfer

The problem is not racial, it is cultural, and created by the liberals that hypocritical don't respect native Americans. The goal of liberals is to make us all dependent on gov. They had an easier time with the native Americans because they had them isolated on reservations. They also used...

    Federal Land Transfer

How many thousand years are we going to keep paying? Some year this all has to end. If not we are slaves and the Indians actually won the wars. We need to forget the wars and move on. I grew up on a reservation and many of the natives had eyes just as blue as mine, and blond hair. I...

    Federal Land Transfer

It's about aholes giving our public land away to aholes. I think it was guywhofishes that said "not another acre". I agree completely.

    Cooking and Eating European Starling

I ate everything cooked on a stick over fire when I was a kid. Can't see anything wrong with starling. I have nearly gaged on gadwall.

    Federal Land Transfer

Hey Zog us old retired guys could do it. I suggest we use our Ice Castles. I also suggest we find a place to camp on the lake for our protest. No limits if we can get those vets to stand between us and the game wardens.:::

    Federal Land Transfer

Yes, and the states will get the rest if we don't get our heads out of our rectum and take this serious. Maybe the Indians will provide better access. :::

They were paid for the land they lost. Are they going to pay that back? Does anyone know if they were also given other land to compensate for this land when it was lost? If it's like Spirit Lake I believe they are buying back land and giving it to the Indians who had previously sold it...

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

Kurtr, wow the heel of that stock is nearly in line with the bore. My Savage 10BA Stealth is much like that. I would guess that's why it has very little rise shooting without the suppressor. I think I am going to have to purchase a lab radar like they are using in that video.

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

I have a number of problems with that video on recoil. Look at minute 4:34 where the guy says as you can see the muzzle did not move. From behind and above that muzzle can move a lot and you can not see it. From the side I can see it. If you can see it at all it's lifting. The other thing...

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

Svnmag that was a good video. I can't remember the guys name, but a well known bench rest shooter had an article much the same as this video in Shooting Times a couple of years ago. The Ruger American had just come out and he was shooting it in 223. His groups clover leafed with that...

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

I agree with your techniques. For the past two years I shoot everything bipod, simply to practice as I shoot. I actually don't find anything more stable. I will get .2 inch off sod, and have a 1/4 inch lift off hard ground with my Savage 10BA Stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor, and a 1/2 inch lift off...

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

It's all physics from the velocity and weight of the recoil to the direction of recoil dependent on the platform as he mentions in the video. I can't see .001 inch lift with my eyes, but that is one inch high at 100 yards. I noticed his recoil on the wood was between the support beams. Hard...

    Shooting bag/rifle rest?

Not really. You can forward load the bipod until the legs nearly bend and it will compensate some, but only some. Freefloat helps some, but that doesn't cure it all either. Some rifles work better freefloated, and others will need forend pressure to stabilize. It's all up to individual...
