    Except for the fact that 75% of what you just listed will undoubtedly be trouble shot out over time. The line is to obvious at this point and its going to snag its own cable after a short while. But the potential is huge and as they improve on it it will only get better unless they get banned.

    Hell wasn't it 2012 we had open water on alot of lakes most of the winter? Remember it was this weekend last year where I fished in a downpour on Sibley. It was weird to watch all that water build up and then start running into the house and down the hole.

    Has to eat the snow first before it can do much to the ice. Fair bit of water/slush formed yesterday but ice is still exactly what it was before. Now by Sunday will have to see especially if we get a couple more windy warm days.

    Plus they are rebuilding a chunk of the channel a mile or so west of the first bridge. They have the money now to rebuild the big collapse north of the second bridge but not sure if they will start on that this year or next. Not sure if they will leave the dam in when they do the big project but...

    With the ice so variable from lake to lake this year just wondering what everyone is seeing out there especially in Central ND.     If they did it would have had to been put in after it froze since it was still way low around Thanksgiving. They used pumps to lower it during the summer. Deffently be worth checking out since if it can mess up the ice that bad its likely to attract fish.

    Like most I fish them allot in the summer but not much in the winter. Fished heckers at first ice back in the 90's and caught a ton of 6 inch perch and 10 inch walleyes.
