    I remember checkpoints in the 70's in SD. A State Trooper would inspect (not search) vehicle, blinkers, lights, brakes, then ask if you were hunting. I'm not sure, but inspections of all seem constitutional, they are not searching. If you were hunting, the GFP would then check your game...

    There are so many situations like this that are very difficult to judge. Does the size of the deer matter? You betcha! It shouldn't but it does. I'll bet if it was a 200" white tail your tag would have been on it. I know mine would have been. I'll admit it.

    Big trophy bucks make people do things they might not ever do normally. In this case (we've only heard one side) the deer should go to the kid that made the initial shot. In fact, if it were me, I'd have stayed back and let him finish his deer himself. May have helped with my positioning...

    I like the amendment idea, believe ND got that right. I believe checkpoints would still be legal in ND, especially if was stipulated in the regs that you submit to being checked.

    Now I know that in ND, there was a amendment to the State Constitution, which makes hunting a 'right'. But in SD, its still a privilege, not a 'right'. IF you CHOOSE to buy a licence in SD, you then AGREE to the terms and conditions set by the State.

    t have is the I-Pilot with enough lbs thrust to last all day in decent wind. Structure scan, isn't a must, but nice. IMO a must is a kicker. Not sure I'd go with a tiller, but they will have sharper turn. I think a 9.9 is enough, but some like a 15. Remeber, its also your spare motor, so...

    My buddy wanted me to put $20 on an 18-1 shot win the Super Bowl, so I put $20 as well. I only did it because he spot me $20 on a pickem pool, and this way we're even, IF they don't win the SB. But if they just make it, I'll hedge the bet some I'm sure to win something.

    Yes, 10000 is 10% ..... 20000 = two 10% or one 20%. So if you don't use em, till 100000 = 100% discount, you would get a free item.
