    Is the switch mounted yet? It may be that it is "grounded" when mounted to the transom (assuming it's an aluminum boat).

    So long as there's no steel shot, fire away. Steel shot scares me after a couple years. I opened up a bunch of several year old stuff quite a few years ago and found some that were downright unsafe to shoot. The bb's had started to rust together.

    I use the Hull Cleaner stuff from WalMart on my aluminum boat. About once every 2-4 years. Works pretty well, but may still need some elbow action. If I remember correctly, it has oxalic acid in it to remove the water spots.

    Where's MSA when we need him? I am curious as to what kind of rattler that is, and I while I am probably wrong...it doesn't look like what I thought a timber rattlesnake looked like. It would appear to be a small diamondback if my Google sleuthing skills are useful. Which is not a snake...

    Does this guy not understand that you are actually supposed to use some kind of bait to attract the mouse/rat? My mom told me yesterday they had two rattlers they killed in their "yard" on Wednesday. She wasn't happy with their presence, I have never run across a rattler at their place.

    I would think any of the boat dealers or Jeff's outboards would take this on. For a $130(?) an hour labor. Figure a couple hours of labor for most installs by someone knowing what they are doing.
