    I just bought a helix 9 with Di for $800 last night at scheels.... nice thing about a h9 or higher is they come with autochart which allows you to make your own contour maps right on the unit while Ur in the boat.... but to answer your question about the 899 HD ducer. Get it.

    I got about a half days worth of rigging to do on the new boat, and about a half days worth of cleaning and waxing on the old one so she's ready to sell. the old one is in the shop now waiting to be cleaned up... thats tomorrows project.... as for ice fishing, college and work had other plans...

    So, I decided to go for round 2 and smoked up a 4#er today on the Traeger..... Seasoned it with Tatonka dust and used apple pellets for smoke..... Holy shit for tender..... And done perfectly...... Cooked it at 180 on the Traeger and it took about 4.5 hours to cook. Cooking it this way...
