    What’s For Supper?

Grilled, stuffed seafood burrito. Topped with queso sauce and some other fancy crap.

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

This can now be summed up very easily. Both sides were in the wrong. Youtube boy should have burned the tape, instead of posting it online for sympathy, money, and likes. ND hunter/landowner relations just took a big kick in the nuts.

    If you could live anywhere

I think I would prefer SD to ND due to the better bird hunting, and milder weather... But, what I really need is TIME. Time to take advantage of the opportunities right here at home. The Mtn states are all filling up with hippies, and public land is becoming really overcrowded. It's lost a lot...

    Elk meat help, Recipes...

As you said, meat varies so much from one animal to the next. In your two attempts at cooking it like you did, if it's not good, it's not gonna get good. Your only other option is to go low and slow for shredded meat, stewed meat, chili, etc; and masking the flavor with sauces and spices...

Pittbull breed, what do you think?

I would fully support the extermination of the pit bull breed.

    100vs200yd Zero

As simple as that sounds, it's sometimes hard to remember under the heat of the moment, as evidenced by the elk I once spined. Been using FFP ever since.

    Frame packs: Overwhelmed

For what you describe, I'd heavily look into the Mystery Ranch Pop Up 28. They are marked down to approx $250ish at multiple places I think. The Pop Ups have a telescoping frame that allows you to increase frame length and load lifter functionality for hauling meat. It looks like a decent bag...

    100vs200yd Zero

I didn't watch the video, nor did I see the responses before they were lost... But, I like a 100yd zero, and FFP scopes. At 100 yds there is less human and environmental error, thus lending more confidence in my zero. It's also quicker and easier to verify a 100yd zero in the field, should the...

    Garage Heater/Condensation

More work than I'd like, and with as small as my garage is, would take up too much space. I do have a wood burner in the house, and enjoy it for that, occasionally. Thanks guys, I'm going with vented gas i believe.

    Garage Heater/Condensation

Nothing about my house is proper. ...I finally had a ridge vent cut in on my house a couple years ago, when I had insulation added to the house attic. Come to think of it, i doubt they did the garage, so no, it wouldn't be properly vented.

    Rifle Scope

PG, I thought you had issues with 1-2 Vortex scopes?

    Garage Heater/Condensation

Vented gas, or electric? Smaller 2-stall garage. I already have LP plumbed in, for a POS ventless heater. I'm looking at combating condensation and humidity. I'll probably run a dehumidifier also, and have a ceiling fan installed. There is no drain in the garage, so the car mat the wife...

    Christensen Arms

The Mesa would be about the only model I'd consider. The Mesa is "cheap enough" where if I wanted that style/model, I'd buy it... I wanted a Ridgeline for a while, but read just enough negative to hold back, and I wanted a different stock. Finally said F it, and built a custom. That said, I...

    Best wireless meat thermometer

Fireboard Pro is probably the best, if you like spending $300 on a thermometer. I've had Ok luck with Thermoworks Smoke. They have since come out with newer models which I would not hesitate to try. They are supposedly longer range the the Smoke, which coincidently, is my only gripe about it...

    Lake Oahe

I really need to learn how to, and take up fishing. As I get older, and now have kids, it sounds more and more appealing.

    Smoked prime rib

SDMF has pretty much nailed it.... That said, my preferred method to prepare a rib roast is to slice it in 1"-1.25" chunks. Season individually, and cook to whatever temp you want, via whatever method you want.......Ribeye steak > rib roast.

    April Blizzard Predicted next week

Wait, when the hell did Hamms become the millennial drink? I always thought it was PBR.
