    This whole situation might be a blessing in disguise. I think its going to open peoples eyes and they will realize that we aren't anywhere close to being able to rely on renewable resources and that fossil fuels saved the day again.

    They can as long as they have the "cold weather package" which is just heaters in the control cabinets that have all the electronic components. If the control boxes get too cold they will automatically shut down to prevent damage to the electronics. Im sure the wind towers in Texas/Oklahoma...
