    You should be able to pull into the many campsites since there's not much snow. I do believe there is one on the east side with a makeshift boat ramp, not too far from that island. I have no clue what the ice is like up there, but I wouldn't drive on any ice right now.

    I had an issue where it would stay lit for about a minute then go out. I dipped a q-tip in rubbing alcohol and cleaned out the flame port. I have had to do this a couple times. Saw it on youtube and it worked great.

    We were on Beaver Bay Sunday and there were some goofy looking spots. Stepped on some soft spots and some spots where the ice starting cracking under me. The East side had wheelhouses and trucks driving around. Think I will stick to the East side for a while.

    Fished Beaver Bay Saturday. We were out quit a ways and had a good 7-8 inches. No fish marked and none caught. I will be back out Friday or Saturday to try a different spot.
