    Long story short. I needed a compact stock for a Ruger American. They made them in the past but no longer sell them. I’m trying to put together a rifle for twin 11 year old girls for their first deer season. After contacting them through customer service and they sent me one free of charge.

    I've got an 18 also. It seems like my starter runs too long before it fires. It's not always consistent. Did a google search a few months back without any good results. Now I'm thinking there might be some issues with that year.

    Glad you got the trap back. Do you think there is a chance someone thought it was an illegal fish trap and removed it. I'd print up a laminated ID tag for it with the girls picture on it, that would make someone think twice.

    Wouldn't it be best to go back after elk season? I would hate to have my elk hunt ruined by someone hunting coyotes that time of year.

    Anyone seen anything like this? Its been passed down for a few generations and i don't have a clue what it would've been used for. It has some damage at the base where it was glued back together.
