    cedar is the best. It's lighter than pine and highly water resistant. And smells awesome lol. I'm pretty sure one can get SIPS panels out of Enercept in SD. But I'm not sure how thin they make them. We've used their panels on quite a few houses. Those have a 5" foam core.
