    I think he would be lucky to get close to 5k. My guess would be around 7-8k. If he needs any fill and gravel base it could be more.

    This is what I thought as well. I've shot plenty of muzzle loader before and the smoke blinds you from the target for a while. Not near enough smoke for black powder, IMO.

    I've yet to use an Hbird that has impressed me. My Helix 10 is better than my previous 1198c, but I would rather have an old HDS 8 Gen 2 over both of those units.
