    Usually the transition period of cooling water is really hit or miss(turnover period usually sucks). Once temps stabilize and start a slower daily decrease it usually gets good.

    A lot of the new half tons have similar tow ratings as a 10 year old 3/4 ton, FYI. I'd bet it is hitch height as well. If you lower the hitch, I bet the sway goes away.
