    I've seen other talk that the raffia grass is no good? Too shiny or something? Cant remember why? Heard of killer weed. Prob same thing.

    ok thanks for ideas. I probably do what is best. Each time out and reload with crop from field. No issues. I'm just getting old and lazy and see where some guys add that synthetic stuff and then only have to add a little from field. Will cut my time in half.

    What are you guys using for fake grass in your layout blinds. I've always put natural field material in the loops but see where many have put in a manufactured type that seems to look good. Would be nice to leave in for much of year.

    I'll have to try to Darn tough socks. Never heard of them. I always use Merino wool with polypropylene liners underneath for hunting/hiking. Seems to be good combo. Wicks moisture away and wool keeps warm.

    Let's be realistic. Deer hunting has turned into a sh!t show. It's a shame that everyone only cares about the horns. Watch a hunting show. They shoot a big buck, walk over to it and simply grab the rack and ooogle for the rack. No mention how how pretty the animals is or how big the body is...

    I shot one yesterday. Was goose hunting in bean field by a little pond. A low area had filled up with about a ft and a half of water. Put goose dekes on edge and in field. Had a few come close enough for a look. Thought about mounting it....I mean on the wall. But then found out prices...
