    Im on the fence with most of these incidents. Like this one and the one about the guide in yellowstone that got killed recently. My issue is I like animals more than most humans.

    I do both, gut and/or just field butcher. Depends on where deer was shot. If on public...im getting too old to deer cart or drag out. If private I take whole deer cuz can drive up to it. I tend to get a lot more meat if I hang whole deer.

    New pet — small dog

    I know these are not low shedding dogs but when a kid we had a shetland sheepdog (sheltie). Very cool dog. Super smart, sweet, very tough and protective. I assume just like large collie. Thinking he was 15ish lbs?

    I consider myself in between a addict and fair weather caller. Get out as much as I can and do ok. I just know that i started with an old 416b. It was LOUD! Thanks for input. I'll look at externals or see if can find deal on an upgrade. They are rather spendy though.

    true but not true. Wind plays a big factor in calling. I am not a newbie in coyote hunting, just newish with electronics. Calling out to 1-200 yds is one thing but reaching out to 3-500 yds is another on a breezy day.

    I have a foxpro inferno. Nice little call. Have only used it a few times and have had success with it. But living in dakotas it obviously gets windy here. The inferno is great in calm conditions but it's not too often we get dead days. It seems that it may not be as loud as I prefer in breezes...

    My wife works in medical field so she obviously knows more than average joe I guess. I get the flu shot every year. About 3 yrs ago I contracted influenza. Man I had bad body aches, tight chest, fever etc. It lasted about 2 1/2 days. Wife said had I not had the flu shot it would have lasted...

    Thinking of switching up my scope on my yote rifle. (22.250) Any recommendations for a scope that gathers decent light, higher magnification than average...say over 9 power? Also not an overly spendy one?

    Black Bear rug open or closed mouth

    I did mine closed. Looks a lot better. Wanted a nice, pretty rug not something that looked mean or aggressive. My tax man who did it said open doesn't look right. Plus, open costs more.
