    Ammo for 9mm

I'm close to Bed Wetter's idea, but since I live in the country I will choose a round that does go through walls. If the sucker tries to hide behind a wall I want to drill him anyway. Sooooooo I will go with something like the 135 gr Critical Duty. I like the old 147 gr Black Talon too. Ya...

    Do not call list

All kinds of calls. For two years every day I get a call that says "is this Bobby Korugian" if this is Bobby Korugian please call XXXXX. Then about once a month it's a call that the IRS is going to sue me. Ya ya go ahead. Then it's the guy that says he is working for Microsoft and there is...

    Road Rage

Sometimes the road rage works out perfect. We were going to Phoenix to visit our son and passing through Wyoming. A green Ford explorer was riding my tail. He would back off, then run up on my bumper. I noticed he had pushed me to near 80mph in a 65 mph zone and I immediately slowed down. I...

    What would you have done?

Glad your alive. Give it a day. Call and report it. Tell them you waited a day to make sure you were reporting out of concern and not anger. By that time there may be nothing they can do, but they will believe you and be watching. Who knows who's life you may save.

    7mm 168 vld's

Bingo. I am in a food coma in Vegas. Wags after two Boyd's laminated stocks I now have a Bell and Carlson Medalist. From inconsistent .5 an inch one way or the other from day to day to .25 or less and consistent.

    7mm 168 vld's

Yes, ladder groups tell you about your scope not your rifle. They are hyped by wannabe snipers. I am wondering about cheek pressure. Many like to press their cheek into the stock in an attempt to further stabilize. That's always a failure. Svnmag a fellow in the 1970s did his grad work on...

    7mm 168 vld's

I was thinking about the rest SDMF. How hard is that front rest. I shoot all my groups off a 9-13 in h bipod off sod. I have seen groups blown off firm rests.

    Test

You often hear younger people ask why older people have so many stories. Very simple, by the time your old you have seen and experienced many things. Unfortunately when your very very old you forget a lot of things. :)

    Scope Reticles

I have eight or nine mil-dot. Then I bought my first MOA a few years ago. Now I wish they were all MOA. If I need to range I can do it with an MOA just as well, and I can tell the width and height of deer antlers once I have my range with the laser. Also, I can get a fast shot at anything...

    Arrow Hypothetical

The fastest kill I have had without a spine shot was the Anderson Magnums they had back in the early 1980's. They die of hemorrhage alright, but they hemorrhage faster with a big hole. I think the Anderson was a three blade with 2.5 inch cutting diameter. They were very poor in the accuracy...

    Scotch Eggs

svnmag I finally found time to watch that video. Thanks. I have to try that. Unlike some of the guys here I had never heard of Scotch Eggs. On a cruse to Alaska I tried some Scotch Eggs Benedict. At least that's what I think they called it. The think cut salmon jerky on top looked really...

    Montana Public Land Trapping Ban

California is a disaster, but when they flee the cesspool they are so stupid they try turn the states they flee to into another California. I think we need to have Trump build a fence around d California. Arizona, Oregon, Colorado are all suffering from the California virus. The first sign of...

Farm Income, I Need Me Some

No tractor crap. How about even a small garden tractor? A retired fellow I know made a good profit of pumpkins. He set up contracts the year before he planted his first crop. Don't know how he made his contacts etc. Much of the farm land in North Dakota isn't crop (garden) type soil, they...

Where are Ginger and Mary Ann when you need them?

:) Mud Puppy sounds like a real neat name for a boat on small water. It made me think of salamanders. I have a 1982 9.9 Johnson that only has two tanks of gas through it. It needs a home and I would like to find a 14 ft John boat. Maybe I'll call it the A. T. Salamander. A T for Ambystoma...
