    I have so much confidence in my 25-06. When I point it at an animal, I just assume it will be dead shortly. I shoot 117 grain Federal factory ammo. It just plain works for me.

    With all the stuff I have read on barotrauma, this appears to be the most effective. Fizzing can work, but hitting other organs with the needle can be an issue. The key is to get them back down rather quickly...

    I wouldn't mind the morning ice walleye bite to start around 9 instead of 8 when a guy has 90 mile drive to get there. Picking up my kids from daycare as the sun is setting is a bit of a drag as well.

    Use the vented heater that's there if you can. Get a good deep cycle battery to run the fan and a higher amp battery charger to attach to the battery. Run generator to charge battery. Might as well toss in another grand for a Honda 2000. My brother-in-law had the same idea. His is gutted...

    I would love to be fishing right now, but growing up is getting in the way. I can't even sneak out of work during day care hours because of too much to do. Oh well, better to be a has been then a never been.;) Ha ha, when the boys get a little older we will be out in force again.
