    If you want an ATV go with the Honda Rubicon, no belts to worry about. Any year will do but get a clean used one from older folks. Rincon if you want a smoother ride since it has independent suspension. A rancher would work as well. But the rubicon has the best tranny pretty much just like a car.

    Spent the day looking for a friend's archery deer in the Bismarck area. Critters are in big trouble around here already I'm afraid,to deep of snow way to early. Deer just stand there as you go past within 30.yds. I sure hope for warmer weather but I highly doubt thats going to happen.

    I've been on allot of bear hunts. My advice to you is if your only planning on going one or two times pay the extra money and go some place with some giant bears. This will mean more remote, like anything it takes age to grow big bears. Your not going to kill a 10+ year old bear hunting a place...

You did mention elk, 7mm or .300 win makes for a good all around gun in that case. I'm a fan of allot of knock down power, can't kill them to dead. They will all kill...

    Iowa Giant Whitetail

    Its absolutely a wild deer shot this past week in Iowa, just talked to my hunting buddy down there and it was taken 10 miles from his place. Looks like it will give the Johnson buck a run for his money, allot of bone there. Thinking Milo will squeak by this time again thou.

    Iowa Giant Whitetail

    I still like a big nontyp muley better, this one went 280" last month. To bad the pic isn't award winning, but at least he's kinda smirky happy.
