    I like a mystery. How much room under your fence and how tall is it ? A coyote carrying half a rabbit would more than likely jump over a fence unless it's way tall . Could you tell if it was drug across the grass or carried ? What kind of roadkill do you see in the area ? Fox , Skunks...

    Something big enough to run off with it. No blood trail or tracks or did you get rain ? I'd tie it down and put a trail cam on it. Either cats or dogs , coyote/fox comes to mind.

    It works in wood chip or straw mulch too, I watched a video where a guy wet it down good and flamed away. In the Farm Show magazine a few years ago Canadian organic farmers were building great big ones and pulling them behind tractors.

    I was visiting with my neighbor who uses flame weeders and he says it's working good. He has a wheeled cart with 5 torches and covers a wide swath but we talked about using a bertha torch and they work well too. Found a pic online and the board trick looks like it would work pretty slick...
