    How to target drum?

I was told by an old river rat that he caught a bunch of smaller crayfish for bait one time to try them and the drum went nuts for them. They are pretty easy to catch on the Red at times. This spring I had a 30-40 drum afternoon trying to target walleye.

I got barked at over in MN for the first time in many moons. The ANS inspector was asking us enough questions to write a book. I told him to talk to the ANS lady as I would have been in the lake and gone. Watch out for the long winded ANS inspectors in the land of 10,000 regulations.;:;blahblah

The Regular 40 Hour Work Week

The first 4-5 years of my career were 60+ hour weeks. Evening, Saturdays, you name it. The last 5-6 years have been much easier to take. There are weeks when 40 hours can happen, but I prefer the 25-35 hour deal if it works out. I have actually started working more now than I did a couple...

    Dish Tailgater

I would just set it on the ground while you are using it and put it away when done. The only thing about setting it on the ground would be if somebody walks in front of the signal it can cut out for a bit.

What are you transporting them with? A big cooler with dual aerators is the ticket for long-term. You can hang ice bags inside as well, but do not let a big bag float or it will cool them down too fast and shock them. I've kept them for a week with just a cooler and good aeration with some...

    Ouch!(earmuffs kids-language)

Experience + good quality gear would = a big fish hanging on the wall. I have lost enough big fish to make me extremely anal about gear and technique.
