The Progression of a Walleye Fisherman

Forgot to include "one piece" 7/6 rod. This may be unicorn territory. I hate 2pc rods. That is all.

    Scammers

On Gutfeld one night Mike Rowe said if you picked up and hit the # three times it would knock their system off the 'net and take them about 20min to reboot. Seems to work as I don't often get repeats.

The Progression of a Walleye Fisherman

Got stationed at Minot. Read about walleye with some experience from the Tygart Lake tailwaters in the Hills; still learning from modified L/SMB techniques. Can hold my own without trolling IE (see Mic's Darling thread): The walleye "drop shot" vid on here didn't need to use live crawlers...

    Tailrace

For the life of me I believe these things were conjured for my torment. I've stuck exactly 11,014 and landed exactly two. Quit (I don't give green damn!!!) wasting time in '01; ice and wingwalls: How the fuck do you people keep a damn fish hooked up?!! I'm guessing a noodle rod and mono.

    O Darling/Grano Walleye

Pay attention to the water behind the plug when it's about 10ft from shore. If you're getting follows you'll see the white tail tip headed back out. It's very rare for clarity enough to see the fish. If this occurs more often than strikes either downsize and/or apply a hydrodynamic blob of...

    Bleeding Fish

Here's something to think about: IMO stressed fish are like stressed game. "Live" wells are only "good" for tournaments. Fill with ice, smack heads, clip gills and spike head first into the ice. The heart will continue to pump for a bit...If not trolling; allow the ice to drain over...
