    115 Mercury 4 stroke problems

Friend of mine with a similar motor called Mild 2 Wild in Mandan last week and was able to get in the same day, could be worth a try.

    New trolling motor batteries

Seems there's been hundreds of threads on this topic. One of those things you'll find guys that love and hate each brand (other than maybe the really expensive ones). I have no complaints with WalMart deep cycles, $80 or so and I've always gotten about 4 years out of them with fairly heavy...

    Canadian Smoke

I don't think it's quite as bad here as in the RRV, but today is the smokiest day yet here (Bismarck).

    NDSU to the FBS???

I'm not an NDSU fan but it's clear they would do just fine in football in the Mountain west, etc. Their other sports would be fine as well. So much chaos in conferences lately that who's to say that conference won't break apart too? The Big 12 is likely toast. Is the juice of being a decent...

    Olympics~

https://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/31895953/simone-biles-tokyo-olympics-team-final-usa-gymnastics-cites-medical-issue Has to be more to this story, but the greatest gymnast ever sat out the team final due to her mental health? Goodness gracious, you're a gymnast, not solving world hunger...

    Boat Value

There's a 1993 Lund 1775 on Facebook Marketplace in Bismarck for 8900 with similar features. Searching that and Walleye Boats for Sale groups, etc on FB are probably a good place to start for an asking price, although it seems as though a lot of people are shooting for the moon on asking prices...

    So, so true.

    Training collars

Tritronics I believe was bought out by Garmin several years ago so you may not find much under their name anymore. I have a tritronics sport G3 that is on year 12 and has been bulletproof. Got a Garmin delta XC for my younger dog and no problems with it, it's about as inexpensive as they come...

    broken st. croix rod ?

I broke a rod last year and went through their process. It was around a $120 rod new and I think I got around a $70 credit toward a new one ordered through them. The rod was 3-4 years old. It was a bit of a clunky process as I had to exchange emails and phone calls with one of their customer...

We definitely need to ban grain in light of this news.

    Electronic Posting

I'd agree that a phone number should have been mandatory. However, at least we have the name of the owner and the person who posted it. Typically (certainly not always) not real hard to find a person's contact info these days, granted they probably won't answer the phone. Nothing worse than...

    Electronic Posting

Seems the vast majority I’ve looked do not have contact info. Saw a couple that did that typically allow you on that I went through a lot of running around to get their phone numbers (people that don’t have listed landlines) so that’s almost kinda disappointing that someone can just get it from...

    DIY Alaska Caribou

I'd go to the Rokslide caribou forum. Seems to be quite a bit of chatter there.

    NDGF: Steinwand Retiring

I've heard they're doing interviews, etc...that the governor isn't merely appointing someone. Although I'm sure he has final say.

    north dakota waterfowl down

You might have to get to a field two nights early this year in order to keep the sconis out.

    Crappie is sorta crappy

Uncle used to scale & fillet at our cabin. Makes a mess though and the jackwagon wasn't very good at cleaning up. Ate a lot of crappie as a kid through age 20 or so, can't remember thinking it was mushy. Do remember my dad being a stickler about keeping them on ice for that reason though.

    Minnkota Spot Lock

I don't think the old ones communicate with the heading sensor pucks unless you maybe put a new head on the motor, which would be about the same cost as upgrading to a whole new motor.

    Minnkota Spot Lock

They do include the heading sensor puck now that is supposed to help. Can’t imagine it’s possible to get rid of all back end sway in wind or current as the motor only has control at the bow after all. But yes, older ones are known for the coil issue.

    Lund transom

I drove by Gibbons a couple weeks ago and I think there was a for sale sign in front - are they still open?

    Cormorants

Bringing this topic back up - been out in slough country the last couple weeks and cormorants are thicker than I've ever seen. You'd swear there were flights of geese on the horizon but nope, all cormorants. Does/can the state do anything about them?
