    Out mowing my yard on Wednesday before the rain, I was sadly disappointed to see what I think is the hatch of the midges that carry EHD. There were millions of the little buggers in the tall grass nearest my pond. Another outbreak like two years ago will extirpate the WT locally.

    The modern semi-auto shotguns are nothing short of awesome, whether they are inertia-driven or gas. I shoot a Benelli M2 and the son has a Berreta. We use them for sporting clays in the summer and hunting in the fall, it's amazing at how many rounds we put through them without problems.
