    Oppenheimer (2023)

Yes, it was justified on the expected casualties alone (I believe the actual estimate was a million casualties including deaths and wounded). As a leader you would always choose the fewer casualties if the outcome is the same. Now, there's always been the question on whether or not Japan...

    Skeeters

I've heard this as well and used it as justification for never having had one before this June. What I have learned is that this clearly doesn't apply to my living in the country where the bugs are attracted to my yard light (about 30 yards from my front door) or the windows/doors of my house...

    SMOKE

Which part do you consider strange, that there are more fires now than in the past, or that the prevailing winds have changed and now bring the smoke over the U.S. more often?

    stem cell therepy

I am of the opinion that there is an awful lot of promise in stem cell, pretty much anything that afflicts the human experience can be alleviated or cured by it. We just ain't there yet. And I guess I don't know if it will ever be applicable to diseases like covid.

    Skeeters

Sounds silly, but it's a Black and Decker that I picked up off of Amazon one skeeter filled evening.

    Skeeters

For the first time, I bought a bug zapper to hang by my front door. It has essentially eliminated the problem of unwanted bugs (flies and skeeters) following the dog or kids into the house. As far as it killing beneficial bugs, I can't say that I've seen any dead bees, damsel flies, or dragon...

    SMOKE

Regrettably, this doesn't look like it's going to get any better anytime soon. The peak in U.S. wildfire season is probably August to early Sept. I'd have to imagine our friends to the north probably experience their peak just ahead of the States.

    Why are bottom bouncers ...

I will use less than 1 oz when fishing less than 12 ft, 1.5 oz in between 12 and 20 ft, and 2 oz for anything over 20 ft. The reason for this rule of thumb for me is I don't like it when my fishing partners need to let out 80 ft of line. Just leads to more tangled lines. I have lots of...

    Fryer oil

I'd stop by Runway Express down by the airport. They sell a TON of deep fried goodies (chicken, corndogs, etc). They should have a relatively large container of used grease. Never hurts to ask.

    Tiger Trout

While you're at it, I hope you catch a pure-strain musky as well. They've now been in there a few years and should be getting of decent size.

    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the theory behind the 3-D fence is to have one X feet out from the inner fence. That X feet is so they can't stand in between the two and get the elbow room necessary to jump or crawl under the interior fence. At least, it sounded good in theory when someone explained it to me some...

    Binos

One thing I like about the optics world is that what once was a $1,000 pair of binoculars, is now made by someone else for $250. I've never gone high end on my personal optics, I've just been too damn rough on them over the years as I leave them on the dash, drag them through the...

    Tech schools and college ND

When I worked for UND the "tax" rate that UND kept from every grant ranged from 25-40%. With over $100,000,000 coming in, that's up to forty million bucks that went towards the electric bill. Pretty sure that helps keep the lights on.
