    The 1X scope helps us old duffers see some sort of sight picture. Tried all sorts of fiber-optic and all I would get was a blurr. I just don't like seeing the end of the barrel, its just not right. Been 10 years sence the last tag, might need to get new powder if I get a tag sometime before I quit.

    If you are using the old hammer type and not an inline it goes tick, pop, kaboom and not bang like a rifle. That fraction of a second differance has saved a lot of bucks from the grinder. Ask me I know.

    My next rifle will be a Ruger PC carbine in 9mm. Its just looks like fun and my back yard shooting is under 100 yards anyway. All my Glock clips will fit. Ammo is cheap and if it is as reliable as its 22 counterparts what the hell might as well have a new toy.

    Honkers

    Saw a lot of honkers north of Fargo about 3 miles just east of 29. Sandwiched in between old 81 and 29, NDSU ag land I think. This was Thanksgiveing day about 3:30 pm.
