    Trees for wildlife

Overall the plan sounds good. Diversity keeps diseases at bay. Like was stated earlier do not plant ash trees. It may not happen but the emerald ash borer is on the way. It devastes ash trees.

Worst food I've had in a while

I had a 12 ounce sirloin at Jack's in Bismarck last Saturday. It was great. Not the most or least expensive but overall a good bang for the buck.

    Salsa

Creosote is generally considered a big no no for vegetables. I have several raised beds all built out of old redwood and cedar decking. Supposedly the creosote migrates into the soil. Why chance it.

what company has the worst customer service you have had to deal with ?

A couple of years ago I took my 3 clients to McDonald's for a cookies and a pop. I told the cashier I needed 4 separate orders of exactly the same thing. She rung the first order up, set out the tray with receipt and disappeared without a word. About 2 minutes later she is walking out the door...

    Salsa

If you Google recipies for canning salsa there are lots of published guides for canning. It would be a good idea to download and print one of those. Better to be safe than sorry. Acidity is a big issue with canning as growers have developed tomatoes that are lower in acid.

    Poison Ivy

If poison ivy is so easy to kill why do they make Roundup with a label that states it is for poison ivy and brush? I believe it costs more than regular Roundup. I bought the poison ivy variety once. It worked but I always wondered if regular Roundup would work just as well.

    Gardening

Lycan you heard right. I quit tilling the entire garden years ago. I use a small Honda tiller and once down and back and my rows are good to go. Not only is it better for the soil, I sure don't miss tilling the entire garden. My garden is 70 by 32. I can till the rows in less than hour. I...

    expandable garden hose

I bought a 75 footer at Sam's. Ran maybe 50 gallons through it. Leaks in two places. Going back next week. Flexizalla is the only way to go. Much lighter than other premium hoses. It does kink but a quick snap takes care of that. Menards has them.
