    Ice Fishing Boots and Socks

That might have been condensation - they don't breath. After an all day affair on the ice mine have a little water in them. Really shocked me.

toe warmers on top of the toes work great too if walking/hiking in between sits (still hunting, etc.)

    New dog disease?

Yep - pred is not good long term. But every attempt to wean (five or six times) results in a near death crash - so we're in it for the duration at this point.

    New dog disease?

BTW, if your dog (or you) are in need of prednisone, the cheap MX stuff is the way to go. Have someone in AZ pick some up for you for pennies on the dollar this winter. I've been blessed to have gotten to the stage where bouts of gout are very rare now, so I'm sitting on a lifetime supply of...

Gather some weather data or storm reports to prove that the problems documented by the mechanic were caused by the thunderstorm. This added information may make it easier to get your claim approved.

    New dog disease?

It crosses easily between many mammals - so you are indeed correct. I still suspect the whitetail EHD apocalypse out west was not due to EHD alone.

    New dog disease?

Yes - they did the panel and it was positive for Anaplasma phagocytophilum. He doesn't exhibit signs of arthritis - humps his fluffy toys like a teenager often (he's fixed - so it's a confused hump of course). But they can't know by the panel if he'd had anaplas but had gotten over it...

    New dog disease?

If you get desperate, ask vet to administer prednisone for the inflammation aspect. We believe it saved Royce about a year ago when he had what they described as a tick-borne illness - but symptoms were similar to what’s described in the OP. But either the pred or the illness might have...

    NFL News (Vikings)

Gosh - being an NFL fan seems like a slog. 😝 I’m relieved that the football industry ticked me off over a decade ago and I walked away. I guess I was not a fan in the true sense.

Is this statistically the coldest day of the year? If not, it’s awfully close… maybe a few days too early.

    2023 ND Deer Rifle Season

That's what stuns me. As a scientists who's authored/co-authored peer-reviewed science journal articles and a chapter in a book, I can't image going along with the charade and not protesting. Wait - yes I can, knowing I'd be mocked, ridiculed, black-balled if I didn't. I probably would have...

    2023 ND Deer Rifle Season

Much like the CDC and Covid. I will NEVER understand how either of these two agencies would choose to go down the path they did. Other than it paid better and kept them in "the club" somehow. Tribalism exists, even in government agencies I guess. It's a big club, but the average Joe ain't in it.

Don't Leave In The Gut Pile

Toxins are neutralized/removed from your blood by the liver. But residual toxins are stored in fatty tissues, not the liver itself.
