I am not a runner either but i have decided i want to do a 5k because it is going to take me out of my comfort zone.
listening to Goggins makes me think 3 miles or so is nothing

After a bunch of reading i was thinking the same thing. My brother in law has killed an elk with that set up and 125 fixed blade muzzys but the spine did seem low from charts i have seen. the 300 does seem the right place to be it is 29 with 70 pounds i did look. I just need to take the bow...
the best that i have loaded are the 117 interlock from hornady with 117 sierra game kings and for factory guys seem to like federal fusion.
if i get a 300 the 212 grain eldx will be on the top of the list. No sense in shooting light bullets when the horse power is there to fling heavies
Why were they tumbling. Not heavy bullets not long distance. And to tumble at 100 yards is almost un heard off. I have shot the different vmax through more different .223 cal rifles than can be remembered and never a problem.
I shoot the hodgen extremes so temps don't matter. Varget,h4350,h1000 all have very little temp spreads. 400 seems way extreme I would be looking at the Chrono. If you are shooting 5 shot .75 groups consistently I would call that really good
Well I just got done shooting. I looked up walk back tuning. That rabit whole is in site haha. Hit good at 30 just to the left every time. Addicted I can't wait to shoot again tommorow. It is so nice having no neighbors and a big yard
