    Flourocarbon???

Ha ha ha. I tried fluorocarbon for slip bobbers once. I didn't know at the time that it sinks like lead core. I do now. Turns out that Nano floats ever so gently (extremely hydrophobic). It's awesome for slip bobbering.

    Flourocarbon???

I must have things dialed in by luck. A 5 foot FG leader lasts me at least 8 reties if not a dozen, since the leader breaks right at the lure. The leader just gets 2-3 inches shorter each break. - - - Updated - - - ps I am not sure about FG performance in really cold weather.

    Flourocarbon???

^that also - pay attention to him pulling HARD prior to trimming. There is sometimes a little slippage - until the braid makes little tiny grooves and really digs into the fluorocarbon's soft surface. Only AFTER the slippage and "chinese finger cuff" effect takes place should you trim the...

    Anyone seeing any roosters?

even the crappiest little wetlands/sloughs retain enough moisture to produce millions of creepy crawlies around their perimeter - even during short term droughts burn/drain/tile those and there's no where for drought-stressed critters to go naw.... that would never happen

Anybody that's a fan or semi-fan of their ridiculous pizza reviews seen this episode? In the review below he gets cold pizza and is asked to leave by a rude employee - it's quite the deal. The wrath of Barstool Sports has descended on the pizza joint now. Also - visiting the "offending pizza...

shooting fall turkeys from a permanent blind

I wish I had developed a taste for lutefisk - it would be fun/tasty to attend such festivities. - - - Updated - - - it's one of an extremely short list of things I don't like to eat. Don't hate it... just don't like it.

shooting fall turkeys from a permanent blind

Ha ha ha. Interesting question. Probably as good or better than "truly wild" turkeys - since manure is chock full of bits of grain/corn/etc. Also - tons of good bugs live in and under patties or in manure piles. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to eat birds that get their chow from cow...
