    For me the main reason for using a tipup is because the temp is below freezing so you need something that will not freeze up even if the hole freezes over. There are many options here if above freezing but not many if below it would seem.

    Is that unusual for it to be that "cloudy"? I only fish Sak a few times each winter and it has always been very clear so this surprises me.

    I just renewed my boat registration. Noticed the ND GNF website has been revamped. No more login and password and it appears they will keep your SSN on file after they know it so it does not need to be re-entered.

    Yeah, I should have mentioned that I have 2 sets of blades. 1 on my auger and the other rides in my tackle box so I can swap them out on the ice if need be. One thing about the strike master auger is it can go from drilling to not drilling over night.

    This. I have sent my strike master blades to them a couple times for sharpening. Quick turnaround and cut like new. Val's Cyclery to be exact.

    Remote car starters

    I just got the 3,000 found range Compustar from Pacific Sound in Bismarck 2 weeks ago. They quoted me $450 but charged me $350, I even questioned them when I paid. I park a fair ways from my office in a cement building and it reaches it nicely. I couldn't be happier with it.
