    Knots...Braided to Mono

    Rigged some new ice reels today so tried the alberto from mono backer to braid and braid to fluoro leader. Definitely easier and faster to tie than double uni. Also sets easier without much rubbing of braid on mono/fluoro. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Whatever you get, put a hyfax kit on it immediately. Even the smaller 2 man flip overs are heavy and unwieldy when moving in and out of pickup bed by oneself. If not connected to a wheeler, have anchors and rope on hand to keep from blowing away in the wind, especially on ice without snow.

    People yelling about laws they don't know anything about amuses me. North Dakota is a single-party consent state. Those YouTubers are tools and I really hope they'll keep their BS east of the Red, but they were certainly allowed by law to make that video recording.
