    Another angle here: If this bill passes, NDGF will have an easy scapegoat when more testing continues to find more CWD. I think I'd rather see baiting banned statewide, so we can give a big 'I told you so' to "the experts" when the ban changes nothing.

    Your skepticism of the drill setups is unwarranted. Biggest DeWalt hammer drill with K-Drill and a 5ah or larger battery is awesome. Another advantage of the drill is you can get the driver for the ice anchors on your hub to drive anchors quickly.

    I never put blocks under but also never leave it on the ice between trips. Too many problems leaving it compared to the hassle of towing back and forth. If it ever got stuck down, crank the furnace and remove the hole sleeves. Could also hook up to safety chains and give it a light bump.
