    Use Diawa Sealines as well. For the $$, they are hard to beat. Mine are old and have taken a beating and continue to work well. Also have a couple of Scheels line counter rod / reel combos - prefer the Diawas.

    If you are in the BisMan area, Precision Engine Repair (small engine repair) in Bismarck has tuned my Jiffy up when nothing else has worked. Carb kits are available and relatively easy to install. Good luck!

    Interesting discussion. It was a corded American Angler that I had been using. It was at least 5 year old and had served me well. Agree that most of the cleaning stations around have electricity. May be looking for another American Angler. Thanks!!
