Good point.
I may do both. I really want to figure out those switched. These wiring diagrams give me something to go on.
Then another fuze panel will be a little extra protection.
Now...who wants to help? There's a case of Blue Tasties in it for ya...
I quick sent an email to Alumacraft customer service and they sent me original wiring diagrams for my boat. They're pretty close I think. Not perfect, because the switch panel is missing at least one switch, but it should definitely help eliminate a bunch of the wires.
Plus I can finally...
Hmmm...new fuse box with master switch. I LIKE that! Do they make marine fuse boxes or are they all run-of-the-mill varieties?
I'm not sure how much more I'll need to add to my boat, but that's not a bad idea for future project possibilities.
What I don't understand is how folks actually attain unemployment, and not for seasonal or injury reasons.
When I was laid off from my last job, I tried getting unemployment to help. Part of the deal was you had to make three contacts with NEW business that you were willing to take a job with...
Ok. I think I figured out what I need to do. Run positive from the fuze panel to the switch and the switch to the USB. Then run the negative from the USB to the fuze panel. I believe I saw where a bunch of grounds run there, so I should be able to just tie in.
Think that'll work?
Yeah that makes sense. I suspect if I start tracing and labeling, I'll get things figured out. I know there are at least six wires from the old motor that go to nothing. Finding those would be nice.
The hard part is just the location. On your back with hands crammed up inside, a light in your...
I'm thinking of tackling the mess under my console. There are wires there that I know don't do anything, and I'd really like to get things less crazy looking.
Anyone attempted this? Any tricks or advice? I really want to install a USB charger, so by figuring out what's useless, I should be...
Just on 50-inch Mushkies.

I've always enjoyed filleting fish, for no other reason than the satisfaction of seeing a job well done.
Nothing makes me grind my teeth like watching someone hack up a fish because they're lazy, thus leaving 50 percent of the edible meat on the...
How do you know this wasn't post-attempt pose? Besides, big fish on light walleye tackle, methinks that battle lasted longer than the 30 seconds modern ski chasers promote.
He's coming to the Vikings. Based on recent history, he's either going to suck, won't be surrounded by the right people, or we'll trade him JUST before he breaks out for an NFL record of some sort...
Just you wait.
Sounds like my wife! When we first started going out, I was pretty proud to fillet up some fresh crappies for her (I'd been told all my life how great I was at filleting fish).
The next 45 minutes involved her gagging on teeny, tiny bones and then digging them out of her gullet.
It was then...
I appreciate fish recipes, however I've never had enough in my freezer to warrant varying from frying or baking.
But I'll definitely keep this in my back pocket, just in case I start gill netting or something.
I tried fixing the yard at my old house after a combination of no snow cover and two dogs completely obliterated what grass there was.
Spent a weekend taking out the sod with a shovel, then tilled it with a Mantis tiller I rescued from the curb and refurbished, and finally seeded, fertilized...
Were the rumors of stocked tiger muskies in Devils Lake just that, rumors? I suppose by this point if there was a tiger muskie still in Devils Lake, you'd have to sort through 50-plus-inch pike to find it. Yucky.
My grandfather taught me the art of boneless pike fillets when I was just a wee lad. Plus we have a thing for pickled pike. Between those methods, there aren't many northerns that get a pass when we fish...
