    Sunday Blue Law

3Rosters your crosswiring things. It's the left that dislikes Christian holidays, Christian observance of the Sabath day, and reservation of Wednesday night for those who must work on Sunday. The Christians I associate with think AOC is ridiculous. Now at the same time I admit that the ELCA...

    Sunday Blue Law

If it isn't broke don't fix it. That applies to our posting laws and our blue laws. If we think about it I would guess it applies to many things North Dakota. So do we turn our backs on what our ancestors built and Kalifornicate ourselves?

    Sunday Blue Law

Corporation work towards a profit. We voluntarily give to church which is non profit. We have a benevolence fund that gives money to needy people. Taxing the church would be like taxing March of Dimes, The American Heart Association, or any other non profit. Gov has no right to tax what I give.

    Sunday Blue Law

Dean it isn't all churches. It's the ultra liberal churches, and Obama. Look at the churches with women pastors, churches that accept gay pastors, churches that have turned their back on the Bible. I belonged to The ELCA for 38 years, but today they are more of a cult than a church. They...

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

That sounds like the best idea so far. At least it doesn't involve loosing the whole thing down a huge hole. It always makes me nervous involving more water. A couple fellows I know got stuck by Smokies going on the ice. They spun their tires until they blew one. So they had to shovel to...

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

A few years back many people got caught out on the ice around Jamestown. I remember one photo on the front page of the local paper. A skid stear was lifting at one end and a John Deer with farmhand was lifting on a chain. They had sawed all the way around it after they got it chained up...

    Round or flat earth

Hmmmmm I share your opinion about flat earth stupidity, but making AOC look sharp may be a stretch. :)

    OK here it is

It's surprising how bent out of shape snobs can get. Had to put up for years with a guy who would get angry when I called my noon meal dinner. I guess some grasp at straws to feel superior.

Deer Rifle Recommendtions for 12-year-old daughter

I have had five 243's. I currently have two 6.5 Creedmoors. I just purchased a 6.5 Grendel. My first choice is the Creedmoor especially if your going out long range for antelope, or ever step up to elk. I think the Grendel would be ok to 300 yards, but I would limit it. Same with the 243...

    Kratom

I have always been (well 1968 onward) interested natural foods and medicines. I have about ten publication. One dating back to 1896 called the Herbalist. I think of myself as guardedly optimistic. I am optimistic, but keep in mind that cyanide is organic too. That and the pain in the ass...

    Muddy Barbara Walters

guywhofishes I have had some bad walleye from Devils Lake, actually from East Devils Lake. They were much more yellow flesh than the fish I get from Jamestown reservoir. I think it was the Gammarus lacustris they were feeding on.

    I’m 40!

Happy Birthday. Don't listen to any nay sayers. I remember when I turned 40. This one guy at work walked up to me and said people either start living at 40 or dying at 40, and I think your going to start dying. Well, I'm still here and he isn't. Look at it as if your just about middle age...

New police tactical machine coming to bismarck

I'm surprised at the response. I have worked part time LE for the past 32 years. If I see someone with a gun here in North Dakota I'm not going to be upset. Nine times out of ten they would help me if I was in trouble. If they were conservative it would be 10 times out of 10. Oh wait...

    Garage Floor Coating

We had a guy from Aberdeen at our home show in Jamestown. That was in March and it took him until September to get to us. I guess he has a lot of work. Anyway our 24 x 24 garage was a three day job. One day grinding with an 800lb grinder with nine rotating four inch diamond coated pads. Then...

    Benchmade.....

Bed Wetter that's sad, but true. Sure wish we had some better alternatives. It's like going to vote. You have to vote for the pervert or the money worshiper. I feel like I need a shower every time I leave the voting booth.

    Updated SB 2315 Online

Yes I have made a statement about posting and taxes many times. I'll have to do it a few more so you catch on. The idea is mutual respect. If a landowner hunts so posts to keep it for himself that makes perfect sense. If he doesn't want hunters in with his cows that makes perfect sense. If...

    Updated SB 2315 Online

I hear that too. I often tell them I understand, but how do you feel about the guy that says I would have to pay a lot less April 15 if I didn't have to help people who can't run a business. At one time we supported each other. Now it's becoming one sided. That's my beef. I appreciate...

    Updated SB 2315 Online

I have bow hunted every year since I was 12 years old. We bowhunt different that all other hunting. We may have one to six blinds or tree stands set up and that is where we always go. We always talk to the landowner, and it's usually the same land year after year after year that we hunt. We...

    Updated SB 2315 Online

That's the way I felt for 30 years. The problem is while they want support they get more and more and give less and less. When people started paying to hunt pheasants around Mott things accelerated down hill. Money destroyed many farmer/Hunter relationships. Some good farmers and some we can...
