    I think it would work great in a drying tent for the wet clothes one gets when hunting in the snow. For fishing....IDK. Permanent shack like for spearing.....maybe.

    Head DOWN!! Keep in mind that all meat processing of beef, pork, chickens, and everything else are all processed head down. There are lots of reasons for this.

    In my younger years, a hunt in Canada would've been the bomb. Now..........a fat 2.5 year old 3x3 with no brow tines is the deer for me. Tender, goes great with onions, and nobody bitches when I put one on the ground. PERFECTION!!!!

    Thanksgiving Feast!

    Smoked Pork and Turkey Breast from my smoker, From scratch pumpkin pie and cherry pie (no canned filling all picked fresh), garden grown green beans and potatoes, and all the trimmings. Not to mention a fully stocked bar and cold beer. Could be fun.

    Looks like a goiter. Common down south. It's a skin virus of deer and the mass is benign. I wouldn't be afraid to eat the meat, but that's just me.

    Field Dressing Deer

    I still and will always field dress, drag, and hang. I don't like the hair and other contaminants that ALWAYS get on the meat when boning in the field. I also like the ability to cool a deer down instead of piling warm meat on top of itself inside a cooler. Too much chance of spoilage IMO...

    Saw a couple youngsters be successful yesterday. Wasn't involved, but the whole group looked real pleased with the legs sticking out of the truck bed and the youngsters talking up a storm. Could hear'em from 500 yards. Good Stuff!!!

    If this doesn't melt, the critters are in for one hell of a battle to survive winter. We have a good layer of ice over everything which locks up all the grain in the fields and covers all the brush as well. Pretty tough going to get a meal for the fur and feathered ones out there. I for one...
