    The rut has nothing to do with weather, Its all triggered by the amount of light in a day. The best time for hunting the rut will be 3 or 4 days before the full moon and 3 or 4 days after. If it was weather the deer would never go into rut down south.

    I had Sight on Sound in Fargo put them in both my pickups and I can be in my work area and pickup in parking lot 3/8 of a mile and will start every time. Its a Astro brand and they claim a mile away.

    Why would you poison mice in a house or garage? They get behind stuff and die and start to stink. And the stink is sometimes in the wall.

    Your doing the right thing and using traps. Do not poison them as you will have a stinky house from dead mice and the smell is hard to track down sometimes.

    You don't have to apologize to anyone. I knew a few people that would buy a trained dog from a trainer. And two months down the road sell the same dog back to the trainer for half the money they paid. Does that make them bad sportsman or hunters no it does not. It's know ones business what they do.
