    I like guns. Nothing special, just utilitarian firearms. Savage rifles, cheap bullpup or pistol-gripped shotguns, pistols heavy enough to disable an assailant when thrown after they jam, etc. And, ammunition for those guns.

    I switched to Progressive online about 10-12 years ago. Cut my premium in half. But, every year they creep up, too. Seemed extra outrageous this year, so I shopped around a bit...still couldn't come within about $300. Unfortunately, I'm insuring 3 boys in the 18-22 range...

    I saw my kid spell the same word differently three times in a paragraph. Bright kid, but just doesn't give a shit about spelling. Getting better now. I pointed out to him that people automatically assume you are stupid when they encounter spelling or grammatical errors.

    If I go about 250Ā° instead of 225Ā°, add butter or the squeeze bottle of Parkay when wrapping (always see that blue bottle on BBQ shows), then brush lightly with BBQ sauce 3 or 4 times the last hour unwrapped, I get a decent bark and definitely fall off bone. Usually have to cut racks in half...
