ice conditions

Thinking about heading up to lake sakakawea this weekend. The Dakota waters area. Anybody know the ice conditions. Should we be worried?

The only thing to be worried about is if there's too much snow on the ice. Was on Steinke Bay for a little bit yesterday and could barely break a new trail. Must be a solid 30" of ice as I was getting close to the handles when drilling my holes.
