Did you spend anytime hunting pheasants today?

I pheasant hunted the last two weekends, wind and all. Put 60k steps on my boots between those 4 days……….hoping to get some more days on the water if the weather will cooperate, should’ve went today.

Correction, it was 67,429 steps after checking my counter.

I’ll listen or watch a game but don’t go out of my way to do so and certainly won’t let let it take priority over hunting, fishing, or a long list of other activities. They make the bowl sone day, I might make an exception. Doesn’t appear I’ll have to worry about that for a while, 😂

I was actually at Menards, marketplace, Mac’s hardware, and unloaded and tested out a bushhog I bought at an auction while the game was going, so I caught about 15 minutes on the radio in the pickup……

So..., you listened to (part of a game) from a state that you knock huh?

You must be interested in watching/ listening to a bunch of overpaid (insert terms) ?
Guessing no non_ residents spoiled your hunt today then?

Lol.

Moose hunted from Ray to Crosby to Portal and back to Berthold. Seen more out of state duck and pheasant hunters then you could shake a stick at.

If there was no NFL, it wouldnt bother me in the slightest. Quite the reach on that one. And nope, no blue platers today, after yesterday I resorted to small tract private ground today, a few nooks that aren’t well known. Don’t like hitting those more than once or twice a year, can’t wait for after deer season when the once a year guys, fair weather hunters, and outa staters are at home watching football while I hunt……….

That's a bullshit comment most areas now it you don't pay to hunt you don't get access my boss leases 4000 acres down by grassy butte for 35 cents an acre which only his family and land owners can hunt it's in a contract that's what hunting has become in a life long resident and I only hunt public land so why is it my fault I can't afford to lease hunting land
Yes was going to retort on bucks n bears didn't even read your cooter but I feel like that is kinda one sided coming from someone that obviously has private orhis own. That is what hunting has become the land u walk will dictate your success its that simple in relative words. So yes hunting has become a forgotten word out at my place. Iv hunted less because the posting yes are their still open areas yes. But to say find ins through land owners is bogus atleast out this way. The people out here are very tight about any thing on the land its from the oil field. Been that way for since 2008 maybe. Sucks but good deer around plenty of 3 bird species just little opportunity unless.

You want to see nr come south this weekend you can almost get a plate from all 50 states. Good for them get after those Chinese invaders haha
Oh no, N.D. resident never go out of state to hunt. Because then they would have nothing to bitch about when nonresident come to N.D. to hunt. So you should only see 49 states.

Most birds we've had in our area in a decade! Was a fun weekend!

Sodak opener was ok for us even with the wind. Heard lots of folks close the the state line struggled. All the birds must be in the NE corner around Pembina!

Hmm? I must be awefull good looking, charismatic or something ?

Never had much trouble finding permission to hunt posted land and never shelled out a nickel for it.

Perhaps expand your area and get away from the area your Boss leases up. ?
MANY, MANY discreet spots that can be found that have great hunting with a road trip and knocking on doors.
Try it. (y)
If I could afford a road trip I gladly would but bills come before play i remember when I was single I would go to devils lake hunting ducks to bowbells hunting geese then back to keene for pheasants in a 3 day weekend just isn't possible now a days
