.45 ACP For Deer?

I've seen more than one deer knocked over by a 45. At under 30 yards, it'll get the job done quite nicely. At further distances, accuracy problems rear their head for most short gun shooters.

I believe a 45 ACP is to short to hunt deer with in N.D. I think it has to be 1.25 or 1.50 to legally hunt deer.

Might have changed that now, but it is reason I went to a 10mm, years ago, because I wanted a auto, but not an desert eagle.
