OK here's the deal. I don't think I have ever clicked on an ad knowingly in my decades(?) old familiarity with the interweb. IF on the rare occasion I see something interesting I will actually Google it instead of directly clicking on the ad. I am not sure why this hatred runs so deep - but I have seriously loathed ads of any variety - except in newspapers - my entire life. I mute commercials on TV because unless they are funny they drive me insane. Sorry Vollmer!
Worst of all the offenders are "drop cards" in magazines.

Don't go clicking ads a zillion times. Google knows the difference between a valid click and an unvalid click. Don't waste your time by clicking 10 ads in a minute. There has to be active engagement from some of the ads aswell. That being said, you should still click some ads here and there, just don't overdue it, or you may actually be causing harm rather than helping. If it interests you click, don't go nuts though. There's a method to the madness here, and we all want to make sure the site stays the right course. Also, if any of you are business owners out there, I'm quite certain he can work a deal with you to get your company some exposure for a great price. Don't be afraid to pm him about it.
