Not fishing the AIM but will be at Grahams Island this weekend.

Fished last Sunday and found a 26" and a few others pitching. Hopefully this cold weather doesn't slow anything down.

I'll be at Grahams Island starting Thursday afternoon. We are in site 144 and running a blue yarcraft 209. Swing over for a beer one evening.

With about 13 hours till the close of registration we are currently at 59 boats for the event. That will equate to a nice $4,700 US Dollars payday for the winner with a $300.00 Entry fee. Thank you for the support North Dakota, lets make it the circuit you always wanted.

Obviously I'd like to see full fields or close to it but this is a start. I highly encourage all of you that fish this series to get your friends to sign up for atleast 1 event. This is the best format in tournament fishing and there is nothing to be afraid of if you participate. Just give it one try and you will be a believer.

I don't understand this post....Registration closes 4 days before the event but you can register as early as you want for any event except the championship. I think you are confused on this process

Maybe it is the idea to pre fish up till the day before??? Then if you are not on fish, don't do it. Makes the gamble a lot more favorable.....

Many of you may have heard of the fuel spill at Camp Grafton on Devils
Lake. At this time the details are not many, but I did receive the
following from the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce.

I just talked with the Dept. of Health. He will get back to me later
today on a more detailed report as soon as he knows more, but for now
we need to ask boaters to stay away from the Camp Grafton shoreline.
Fishing shouldn’t be affected, but they have a crew working on
containment and evaluating the area so they are asking people to just
stay out of that area. He will know more today regarding the impact of
the spill, etc. I will let you know what I know, when I know.

A quantity of fuel the size of my hot tub dispersed in this body of water shouldn't amount to a darn thing. They let people pump their sewers into the lake for a few years as they were being flooded out. Don't get my wrong, I hate to see things like this happen, all precautions need to be taken - I just don't get the hysteria - and with this wind today - it just became a tribal problem!!
