Actually have seen this before , one spring while shed hunting my son was walking a fence line and I was walking a tree row heard this goose honking and putting up a fuss couldn't see it then the damned thing swooped out of a tree and dove at the kid, I guess niether one of us thought to look up in a tree for a goose, thinking the boy had got to close to a nest in the CRP

Mah.…nuttin new. See them all the time on top of the grain elevators and moving railcars in town. Even have them on the top of our towers here at the fertilizer plant once in a while.

Not quite the same, but saw one on top of Ebenezers the other morning. Makes me think i need to start sitting in my tree stands for birds too.

Have seen it once or twice on the river north of Bismarck. Also saw a pair land on an apartment building in the NW suburbs of mpls.

Dam and I considered myself an outdoorsman...never seen a goose in a tree...hay bales and hay stack yes, on top of buildings and in trees nope...

They occasionally like to hang out on the roof of my office building. It’s cool when you’re on the 2nd floor looking out the window and suddenly a goose swoops down in front of your face. Kinda scares the crap out of you. Also neat to watch them fly in.
