In an attempt to not make this too long... I recently had a camo ground blind with an orange top, and 2 blue otter tripod chairs stolen from a WMA close to Washburn.. Smith Grove to be exact. There are a few different trail cams that I have seen on one of the main areas that this happened. Just curious if anyone here has one of these cams. I would like to get a pic if possible. Not exactly sure when this happened but within the last 2 weeks I am guessing. Went out to check it before the first snowfall earlier this week only to find it gone. 2 tiedowns were cut and stakes left and the other 2 were pulled out of the ground.. Also.. I do have a trail cam fairly close to this area and never got a pic of anything odd.

I don't know what the area is like, but is it possible the wind launched it into the next county? I had one that I thought was tied down good end up in a heap about 200 yards away in another pasture.
I thought that at first because that happened the week or so prior. When that happened it was found in the cornfield about 150 yds away no damage surprisingly. The chairs that were left in there would not have blown away. And 2 of the tiedown ropes were cut. Was just hoping that someone on here had the other cameras out there with a pic possibly.

You could try walking by the cameras with a sign with your phone number.

I dont hunt WMA's much but id think leaving your equipment on them might be kinda risky... Is it even legal?

Yes it is risky. And it is legal, you just have to take it down by the end of January. I've done this many times before with no issues. Sucks, but it is a risk a person takes when doing so.

Did you have your ND GNF identification number on your stuff? If not it's possible a warden took it.
That is where I fucked up. My wife and son went out to sit in it on rifle opener only to find the wind had blown it into the cornfield. They did tell me the info I had on it was gone. I never made it back until the other day to replace it. My bad. I thought about calling the Game and Fish but I know I am in the wrong. Was just wondering if someone had a pic or not. Maybe I shouldn't have labeled the thread "Assholes". But by how the tie downs were cut I'm guessing the game and fish didn't do it.

seems like cutting the tie downs is exactly what a warden would do since it’s likely to be disposed of, not?
